  • How did you envision the project?

    • AllPeeP was founded in 2021. D’Angelo was working in social media advertising space, and discovered how some communities were shadow-banned or deplatformed. Met Christoph, started looking at Mastodon as a base to create the platform. We are looking at WordPress as the model for how to create an open-source platform w/ an ecosystem where many participants can build sustainable businesses. Used customer funding to build parts for our project (lots of our features are customer-driven). Our customers are generally not Fedi-aware, but we are educating them on the value of connected communities.

    • AllPeeP is the commercial entity that hosts OpenPeeps communities. We are built on top of the core of OpenPeeps

  • Ben: I struggle a lot w/ Private areas vs. Public areas. One of my customers is interested in having both. I’ve been trying to make a very clear split.

    • Spec on End-to-end Encryptin in Fedi is being worked on.
