  • How do we move towards interoperability?

  • Threads has joined somewhat - but isn’t complete

  • Data consistency - inherintly can’t get complete consistency due to protocol design - but we can improve it

  • Discussion about whether Notes can have inboxes

  • Mastodon forwards Deletes, you can receive the same Delete from many Mastodon servers

  • Pleroma uses authorized fetch - anyone who requests a Note, gets stored in a list - and can then be informed of later Deletes

  • But that requires authorized fetch - with the associated caching limitations
