Census of Fediverse handles? A: Difficult technically and difficult culturally.
-
ActivityPub protocol has an “indexable” field. Opt-in, so low participation.

No centralised registry. Would need to subscribe and data would be incomplete.
-
FASPs are aggregation of streams. https://github.com/mastodon/fediverse_auxiliary_service_provider_specifications
-
Q: Can I query the messages mentioning me, and look for those handles? A: Maybe by Mastdon proprietary API.
